What is a tincture? A tincture is a concentrated herbal extract, made by soaking plant material, herbs and spices in alcohol and or vinegar.

Do alcohol-based tinctures contain alcohol?
Yes. Diluting a tincture in water changes taste, but not the efficacy. People who must avoid alcohol should consult a healthcare professional and consider an alcohol-free product. Alcohol can interact harmfully with certain medications. NIAAA guidance

Why is grain alcohol and apple cider vinegar used in tinctures?
Grain alcohol and apple cider vinegar extract a broad range of water-soluble and alcohol-soluble plant compounds. It also helps preserve the tincture and maintain consistency over time.

Can I take a tincture directly under my tongue?
Alcohol-based tinctures may cause burning or irritation when taken undiluted. Mixing the serving into water or juice may make it easier to tolerate.

How many drops are in one dropperful?
The amount varies by dropper, bottle, liquid thickness, and how fully the bulb is squeezed. Follow dosage guidelines per product instead of assuming that one dropperful is a standard serving.

How long does it take to notice results?
Experiences vary depending on the product, the individual, consistency of use, diet, medications, and other factors. We cannot guarantee a particular result or timeframe. Follow the product label and discuss ongoing symptoms with a healthcare professional.

Can I take multiple tinctures at once? Do not assume that multiple formulas can always be combined. Products may contain overlapping ingredients and combining them may increase side effects or interaction risks. Review each label and ask a pharmacist or healthcare professional before combining products, especially if you take medication or have a medical condition. Herbal products can interact with prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, and other supplements. NCCIH herb–drug interaction guidance

Always consult your Health Care Professional!! Ask them specifically how the tinctures would interact with your current medications!!!

Combining products can duplicate ingredients or increase the chance of side effects and interactions. Review every ingredient and consult a pharmacist or healthcare professional before combining formulas, particularly if you take medication. Herbs can increase or decrease the effects of prescription and over-the-counter medicines. NCCIH herb–drug interaction guidance
